PLAYER SCOUTING: THE NEXT BIG THING?

With the Under 21 Tournament just finished and the transfer window just opened there are some top footballing prospects being signed up by big clubs this summer. The huge transfer fees being offer by Real Madrid and Mercenary City are distorting the market and making it very hard to buy a player for his true worth. As a result many clubs are refusing to be held to ramson and are instead looking towards younger players with potential rather than paying £15-20 million over the odds for an established star. Manchester United have already signed highly rated Equadorian Antonio Valencia, Brazilian defender Dodo, Sean McGinty from Charlton and Italian Alberto Massacci.
