Emmanuel made it three wins in a row as they travelled to Derby to overcome a battling Pastures outfit. Pastures began well but it was the church club who took the lead through an exquisite Walker volley. Pastures came bask strongly and got a deserved equaliser before Emmanuel took the lead again from a Sweet free-kick. The second half began badly for Emmanuel who failed to deal with a Pastures corner who duly equalised for the second time. However, Emmanuel responded really well with Walker producing a second superb volley before Pownall added two more as he twice picked his way through a tiring Pastures defence. Walker then added his third and Emmanuel's sixth to seal a good team performance. Particularly pleasing were a good debut from Etherington, an industrious second half from Large, a solid performance from Tyrer, a nice cameo from substitute Cole, and a brilliant Day save late on in the game.
Day; Sharp (Large), Arme, Riman, Tyrer; Pownall, Sweet (Aning), Schad, Smithson (Cole); Etherington, Walker. Subs: Hurrell, Watkiss
