Emmanuel made it ten games without defeat after coming back from two-goals down against Belper Town. Emmanuel began well as Smithson capitalized on a mistake in the Belper defence to give the church club an early lead. However, with the wind behind them, Belper went on to score three times as Emmanuel struggled to cope with the heavy pitch. The second half was, though, very different as Riman got a grip of the back four, Eccleston and Watkiss came on to bolster the defence, and Maksymiw added height to the attack. With man-of-the match Large now taking charge in midfield and Cole making progress down the left wing, Emmanuel were soon dominating the game and began to reap their rewards as Aning scored from the edge of the box with a finely placed shot and then the excellent Sharp was alert enough to net after the Belper keeper failed to hold as Pownall strike. The scores were now level and so when Walker produced a carbon copy of Aning's strike it looked like Emmanuel had all but won the game. However, with the clock now running down, Belper produced a stunning strike to from the edge of the box to level the scores. A fantastic game and a credit to the Derby City League.,
