For those of us who turned up, which was most of us, for a muddy, wet and cold kick around at Derby Road today it was great. No training, just good fun and getting pretty dirty was the order of the day and on occasion there was some good football too. Can't say I excelled myself today but I did fall over plenty which amused everybody and we all had a good time. Special mention to Rik who went in in goal to make up the numbers and threw himself at everything. I don't envy him driving home in his boxers! It all shows what a great spirit we have in this team from both players and family and to turn up on a very miserable morning and make the best of it all shows the commitment and dedication that has seen fantastic results on the pitch this season.
Well Done everybody, although I think some you who turned up in t-shirts and trainers and no waterproofs could do with a common sense jab at the Doctors.
See you Wednesday for a less muddy and more structured training session.

That was the best fun i have had in years!!!
Ive not played for a while & it was great to get back into it again, ive not had this many knocks n bruises for a long time but it was so so well worth while. Seeing Emma wetting herself at the state i was in topped my day.
All good fun even though i couldnt stand up properley in my trainers.
Im just glad i didnt get pulled over by the local constabulary on the way home wearing just my boxers with no shoes. There was mud where mud hasnt been before.
Thanks to everyone today, loved it....but please Patryk, dont call me Sir, Riks fine to you all.

saterday was well good , it was the bestt training ever because there was no competiotion and it was gr8 conditions. thanks luke for the training and i cant make it on wednesday... sorry :(
that was the best emmnauel training session in the history of the club !!
